The PTC Mini Minor squad is all about development and learning the skills of swimming, cycling and running. Let’s not forget about the 4th leg of transition. You might have aspiration of being an Australia representative like Aaron Royal or Emma Moffatt one day which is great but you also might just want to join in with friends and train together under the watchful eyes of Coach Jack.
The junior program is overseen by the Head Coach of PTC (State Performance Centre), Coach Corey who is also the Australian Paratriathlon Head Coach. Coach Corey built the ACT Junior Program to one of the best run junior programs in the country and now brings that expertise and knowledge to the PTC Mini Minors with accomplished triathlete Jack Bigmore who has been an Junior Elite and a member of the Australian Paratriathlon Team as a guide for a visually impaired athlete. So PTC Mini Minors are in good hands.
The Mini Minors is all about promoting skill development, providing knowledge and encourage participation in the sport of triathlon. We will motivate all minis and minors to have a great time as well.
PTC Minis Minors do train through Winter with the main season of training being from September each year and thru to April. Along the way PTC minis minors will have the opportunity to participate in Elite Energy Mini Mans and Trystars events throughout the season. Fun…fun…fun.
