The High Performance Plan for Triathlon Australia clearly states its mission “To be the most successful triathlon nation in the world”.  This plan was developed in response to, and aims to support, the AIS’s Winning Edge aims of top 5 nation at the Olympics and Paralympics; top nation at the Commonwealth Games and 20 World Champions each year.  This selection policy looks to provide the framework for the delivery of support and services to current cycle athletes, and for the identification and development of future cycle athletes.

The ACT State Performance Centre (SPC) will strive to develop existing and new athletes for Olympic/Paralympic podium potential.

Athletes that sit within the TA categorisation levels, as well as identified potential categorised athletes have the opportunity to join the ACT State Performance Centre and work towards their goals in a well-developed professional daily training environment with State Performance Centre Head Coach Corey Bacon.

Athletes wishing to be a part of the SPC will need to consider relocating or discuss coaching options with the SPC Head Coach.
